Our experience was a 5/5 here. It most definitely is a pricey place, but wow the food is incredibly unique and so fresh and delicious. We tried their eggplant burrata, kale salad (great big portion), chicken wings, and hot pepper labneh. We split between my husband and I and we were perfectly satisfied. The wine selection looked great, but I’m pregnant so would love to return and experience it all with a high quality wine. Would definitely return when back in Burlington. Service is nice, ambiance is nice. Highly recommend!

Gluten free haven- Fellow gluten free travelers, this is a place that serves "small plates" meant for sharing. I mentioned needing a gluten free menu and they brought back the menu with anything that had gluten crossed off. The seared Haloumi could have cross contamination (marked with a cross). There is a handy glossary off to the side that tells you what the Greek food is, very helpful for me as I didn't know what ANYTHING was! I took a picture of what we ordered. I got the Halibut for myself (my husband didn't want the pork chorizo in it) and it was a perfect size for one person, was kind of like a stew with potatoes and a 4 oz Halibut. Very good. My husband got the Grape leaf Dolma, Lamb (the green rolls in the picture.), Muhammara and Baba Ganoush dips that use veggies to dip (local Crudite, sold separately). Both were very tasty. We split the tahini sundae which was delicious.

Amazing restaurant. The appetizer of hummus and oil was so good it rolled my eyes back in my head. As did the harissa wings. We ended up having 5 or 6 small dishes and everything was outstanding. A few wine and drink options, plus a small selection of amazing VT beers. Reservations are recommended.

Fantastic food. Surprised that every dish was superb. I’m pretty picky and I have literally no complaints. Drinks were also quite good. Make sure you have a reservation or you won’t go in. Recommended!

This spot is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone seeking a standout Vermont foodie experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and effortlessly inviting. The staff truly sets the tone here, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about the food and drinks they’re serving, which makes the whole experience even better. One of the biggest highlights is the extensive gluten-free options. It’s clear a lot of care and creativity goes into making sure everyone at the table has amazing choices. The menu is built around small plates that are perfect for sharing, especially with a group, though it was just the two of us and we had a blast sampling a variety. We ordered six little dishes and honestly could have kept going. Everything arrived smelling incredible, looking playful and beautiful, and, most importantly, was so much fun to eat. The stuffed dates and whipped goat cheese were absolute standouts, but every plate impressed with bold flavors and thoughtful presentation. Pairing the food with their delicious wine and beer options made the evening feel relaxed yet special. This is definitely a place where reservations are highly recommended, it’s that darn yummy, and clearly popular for a reason. As a couple, we left happy, satisfied, and already talking about what we’d order next time. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable, share-worthy dining experience in Vermont.

Our first time at Honey Road. The food was amazing, full of flavor. The drinks were on point as well. Over all a great dinner. The only thing that dropped service to 4 stars was that once seated, it was at least 10 minutes before we were acknowledged by waitstaff and observed a table nearby, who arrived after we did, be waited on. It was around 5pm and the restaurant wasnt filled so we weren't sure why.

We stopped over in Burlington on the way back from North Carolina, looking for a place to eat. Rather than settling for a quick bite at a diner, we had read positive reviews about this restaurant and decided to try it. Honey Road was an intriguing dining experience, and, as recommended, we ordered quite a few tapas to enjoy the full experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and balance of flavours and textures in each dish. I also really enjoyed "Earthly Delights", a cocktail that contained one of my favorite ingredients: rhubarb. My only reservation was that a few dishes, particularly the asparagus, the roasted chickpeas, and the wings, were a bit over-seasoned for my taste.

We stopped at Honey Road because of very high reviews, and had no idea what we were getting into. Both of us were very pleasantly surprised and pleased! Food was exceptional. Very fresh and every dish full of next level flavor. Have never experienced anything quite like it, and it was delicious. Against better judgement, ordered the baklava for dessert and it was also one of the best baklavas I’ve ever had and that stacks up against some very formidable competition. Prices a bit high, but well worth it. Sharing everything made for great experience too. Tables also can be very close together and noise level can get high but it’s manageable. Overall, 9.5/10 and would gladly go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was excellent. Octopus, lamb roll, and potato dish were all fantastic. However, the sweet harissa wings were absolutely amazing. The sauce was sweet, smoky, and full of spice (flavor not heat). We may have ordered a second plate. Restaurant has been open almost 10 years and still has some of the original staff. Would absolutely return if in Burlington again. Our server, Ellis, was very attentive and fun.

Honey Road is a standout on Church Street. Luke and Sarah were incredibly hospitable—we felt genuinely warm and welcomed from the moment we sat down. We were visiting family for the Christmas holiday from NYC, and this was the perfect spot for a cozy, memorable dinner. The Mediterranean food was excellent, and as someone with allergies, I really appreciated how accommodating and thoughtful the staff was. Reservations are strongly encouraged (for good reason), but we were happily seated at the bar, which had a great vibe. We ordered the olives, dolma, smashed potatoes, and harissa chicken wings—every dish was flavorful and well-executed. For two people, ordering 2–4 mezze items is the sweet spot. Honestly, I’d go back just for Luke and Sarah, but paired with the amazing food, the whole experience was delightful. Chic, warm atmosphere, spotless bathrooms, and consistently great energy throughout the space. Highly recommend.
